"BUYER BEWARE!\nMy husband purchased a 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 from Performance Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Georgesville on July 5, 2025. It had 23,485 miles on it. Less than two weeks later, the "Service Brake Pad Monitor" light came on. Knowing what I know now, they probably sold it to him having only reset the warning light, not actually fixing the problem. \nLess than one month later, my husband passed away. \nWhile dealing with grieving kids and planning his funeral, I had to figure out why this sensor light was on--preferably before the first payment as I wanted to sell it before having to make payments and before it got repossessed. I contacted Alex (name changed so they don't sue me) with "service" and was told I needed to go to a GMC dealer because the truck was under warrantee and therefore, it was the dealer's problem, not theirs. \nSo, I took it to a GMC dealer and $125.00 later was told the brakes were down to 2mm, the rotors were rusted and grooved and the truck was not safe to drive. My son had driven the truck more than once moving stuff to his apartment. So, he was driving a truck with a heavy load and unsafe brakes on the highway. Thank God I didn't have to plan two funerals. \nI called Alex with the information about the brakes and rotors, and he said they can't use information from a third party. They'd have to see it themselves. I was also told that they replaced the rotors and two tires. Per my request, he sent me what he called a service report. \nNot appreciating the run around I was getting and because I lacked the time and energy to deal with what is clearly an unethical business, I took the truck to my local mechanic for a second opinion. \nThey confirmed what the GMC dealer said. I had them make the repairs as I would never sell this truck to someone knowing that it was unsafe. When I picked it up I was told the rotors were factory parts and had never been changed. In fact, the mechanic had to torch off the bolts/screws because they were rusted on. Additionally, the tires were not new and there was no information on CarFax regarding maintenance on the truck. \nIt cost me $1500.00 (plus the $125 diagnosis from GMC) to repair a truck that my husband owned for less than a month and put fewer than 300 miles on. The money pales in comparison to the time and energy I had to put into rectifying what should have been a non-issue if the people at Performance Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Georgesville had any ethics whatsoever. \n\nIn my final conversation with Alex, he had the nerve to tell me they gave my husband "a great deal on that truck". Seriously? \nIf you are considering purchasing a vehicle from Performance.....Georgesville, please do your homework. Take it to a neutral third party for an inspection. It will be money well spent. Or better yet, go to a reputable, trustworthy place to start with. \n\n Gave them one star only because zero wasn't an option."

"I bought a used tesla from Ricart. This should have been the easiest transaction. We agreed on price before I got there and I paid cash. They sold me a car that they didn't fully own yet because it was coming off a lease. They let me leave with the car and because of this I couldn't get prior owner off of the car for almost a month to be able to use all functionality. The car even had the prior owners credit card in it. I spent two weeks on the phone with Tesla and Ricarts sales manager telling me to come back to their store (45min drive) so they could get the prior owner off. I drove down there and they had some guy try to do it who had no idea what he was doing. They also gave me the prior owners phone number and told me to call him. End of the day, all they care about is moving cars vs the customer experience. No way they should have sold that car until they actually owned it. Made my life hard for 30 days but I love the car. The sales manager I worked with gave me a runaround. Very disappointed. Would not recommend."

"Byers Jeep and the team was great! I set out, after online research, to buy a used vehicle. I set up appointments at Byers Volvo and Byers Jeep. I was very tentative due to a previous experience with Byers, but a friend convinced me to give them another shot. Gabriel and his team at Byers Jeep didn't disappoint. However, I was met with a disappointing experience at Byers Volvo. Maybe the folks at Byers Volvo were having a bad day, but my wife and I didn't feel welcome. \n\nGreat experience with Gabriel and his team. Everything from having the car ready and clean for the test drive to working with me on the finances. Customer service is key, and they have it!\n\nBuying a car can be a nerve wracking experience, but Byers Jeep made it pleasurable. Thank you! We will be back!"

"Zero if I could give it. IMHO and experience they are not a place I would recommend buying a car at. I bought a used car from them and literally within less than 24 hours engine codes started popping up. Then the convertible top fell apart. I can't even get the car to pass e-check to register it. Their response = too bad. The car stalls out randomly on the highway, or anywhere. It's dangerous and the response is a flippant "you need to have a mechanic take a look" and that comes from the GM at the top - Justin Harmon IMHO once they have your money, you're on your own, not moral, and not a way to run a business. Look at all the bad reviews recently. Poor Bob Caldwell his legacy is being destroyed.\n\n3.39 rating on BBB -\n\nhttps://www.bbb.org/us/oh/columbus/profile/new-car-dealers/bob-caldwell-chrysler-jeep-dodge-ram-0302-611/customer-reviews\n\nhttps://www.reddit.com/r/OldSchoolCool/comments/9gzgip/kurt_russell_in_used_cars_1980/"
