The scammer will create a fake tracking number and send it to the victim, claiming that they have an important package that needs to be tracked.
I placed a high-value order totaling nearly $6,000, and the delivery date is showing as today, July 18, yet I’ve received no tracking number from Dell directly. After calling support, I was given a FedEx tracking number —but FedEx shows they’ve not even received the package yet.

FedEx lost my laptop order (and admits it) and Dell says it was delivered and won't replace it. So how do I handle this?: My husband bought a new laptop for our son, shipped via FedEx. When it didn't appear the day it was supposed to, according to FedEx's tracking infor, we contacted FedEx to ask where it was.
Fedex tracking still shows “label created” So on the 17th of July I placed an order for the Alienware Aurora R11. Originally the estimated delivery was August 31st. However, 2 nights ago I received an email notification from dell that it had shipped out and that it was due to arrive today actually.
I ordered a pc with "Express Shipping - Next Day" at the beginning of the month. On Friday May 22nd @ 12:04AM I was sent an email that my order was shipped and given a tracking number. I checked FedEx and it said "shipping information sent to FedEx" with an estimated delivery of that day, the 22nd.
