I am hoping that actual results of using the coyote treat can be determined and verified either for success or failure. Incidental kills are possible but I don't blame the lease owners for trying to do something about the coyotes. Many leases and hunters are reporting steadily declining deer numbers and increasing numbers of coyotes.

That shotgun will work fine. You might look for shells with larger shot. Even the smaller buckshot would be an option. But the turkey loads you have would just limit your range. And I have several rifles with muzzle devises and they are loud. I just always wear amplifying muffs. You get a slim pair and you get used to them.
