After I’ve attached the handles I put the cups into what I refer to as a damp box - in reality this is a plastic storage box … with a lid. It doesn’t have a plaster base it really is just a plastic box. I put the cups with their freshly attached handles in to give them time to even out the moisture difference between handle and body. They are in there for 3 days, after 2 days I smooth out the handles and tidy up the joins. Then they go back in for another 24hrs. After that I take the lid off for
